December 50/50 to benefit teen youth nights in the Harbour
The Pender Harbour Community School Youth Night Program is for grade 6-12 students on the last Friday of each month, October to May, in the PH Community Hall.
Providing a fun, safe environment for youth to participate in games, music, movies and share food in an inclusive environment with their peers. The program provides for social engagement and brings youth together to enjoy a night out. The program is supervised by Volunteers, PHSS Teacher Danny Vallee and his partner Janna. It also provides the opportunity for high school seniors to step into a leadership role and help plan and lead the evenings activities.
The proceeds from the December 50/50 will be dedicated to the teen nights. Each evening costs approximately $150. We hope to cover a few months for the youth program.
